Youth

Explore the opportunities for youth at North Shore Church

Be in the know! Here's what's coming up!

Break out your brightest attire! Neon Night is happening April 5th from 6-8 pm! Students from grade 5-12 are invited to join us for an evening of bowling, games and pizza at the Terrace Bay Bowling Alley. This event is free, however registration is required to ensure we order enough pizza!

It's time to dodge, dip, duck, dive and DONATE! Join us for a day of friendly competition in this grade-school classic game! Proceeds from this event will be in support of North Shore Church's children's and youth programs, which includes the yearly trip to Youth Camp at Silver Birches Campground in August.

Student Mid-week Experience

At North Shore Church our young people experience safe, age-appropriate environment where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. Each week we take time to burn some energy through a variety of games, and also discuss relevant life lessons from the Bible.

Register your student below to receive our weekly emails and updates! We will also use the info you provide to contact parents and guardians in the event of medical emergencies and cancellations. Please note that any off-site events will have a separate permission form. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to email Pastor Katie Cochrane, at katie@thenorthshore.church.

We would love to see you and your family visit North Shore Youth. To find more info on our next gathering, check our Facebook page here.

Additional Information

North Shore Church is a safe place for pre-teens and teenagers to come and experience peace and joy. We strive to create a positive community that encourages respectful and thoughtful dialogue and conversation. Everyone is welcome to come and experience our youth ministry activities. However; bullying, teasing, violence, or any other inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. We all make mistakes, and start with a verbal warning to any student who may have overstepped. But unfortunately a second encounter will result in the student being asked to leave for the safety and wellness of the group.

It is our desire that all students feel welcome. We will work with you and your family to ensure a positive environment for all of our students.

Leaders and Safety

All of our leaders who are involved in any ministry at North Shore Church have been interviewed, screened with a criminal record check, and have gone through child protection training. We do this to ensure each young person is kept safe and in a positive environment.

Our leaders are invested and committed to serving our students and their families.
